Nero di Troia IGT Murgia Rosso, Botromagno, Puglia, Italy

From northern Puglia, the little-known Nero di Troia grapes produces full-bodied reds with black cherry, damson and leather notes and a refreshing streak of acidity to keep the wine balanced. This is a wonderfully made example from the d’Agostino brothers, whose winery Botromagno is a collaboration with the local co-operative.
